Last Saturday morning, I was so excited to get up and spend the day at a Lifestyle Photography Workshop with Jessica Vaughn Photography! After a few days of gloom, we got a beautiful sunny day in the 40s (warm compared to what we had been getting), which was perfect for a lifestyle shoot at home. And did I mention I just love lifestyle shoots???
The "R" family had just welcomed baby "C" into the world about a week ago and invited us to come capture a morning with both brothers. Older brother "J" was hilarious. He wanted nothing to do with these girls with cameras that were interrupting his morning! We were able to get this wonderful family shot of Mom and baby "C" listening to Dad read a story to "J" outside of his fort. And to be noted, "J" wanted nobody touching or getting near his fort!
In case you didn't notice baby "C" had his hair styled in the cutest mohawk for our session. Mom is cuddling her little bundle and showing his 'do off. Baby "C" gave us some great eye contact and I even got to capture those little tiny baby toes.
That was the classic "J" face...in other words, don't mess with me camera ladies. LOL...Dad had to pull out the bag of tricks to get him to cooperate!
For those of you who notice all the little details, how awesome are all the quilts mom has decorated the house with??? Love the splash of color they added to all the images.
We finally got a smile out of "J" at the very end! The "R" family was awesome and I want to thank them for allowing us to take a peek inside and capture what we saw. Makes my heart happy!
These are really, really good! I wish we had something like this done when our kids were tiny. Great work!
